Carved Chinese soapstone lady in a leafy boat. Very nice white soapstone - almost chalky white, with lovely use of the gentle blob of red colour in the stone depicting a sunshine colour beaming onto her face. Excellent craftsmanship and stone selection with a feel chunky feel and appears to be old. Original and tidy piece.
